Spend, Spend, Spend

Colin Cowherd mentioned something interesting this morning on his morning radio show, The Herd, on ESPN Radio. He said that if you have a good job and you are secure financially, you should be spending as much money as you can on cars, big screen TV's and other consumer items. I don't disagree that you will probably get a better deal on consumer items now and through the rest of the year, than later, maybe next year, when the economy turns around. He also mentioned that 73 of the top 100 Forbes companies in the US right now are hiring. I find that hard to believe, but I think it's time to go buy a new TV, since my son scratched up our LCD a few months ago.
